Preschool Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On Monday Kate and I went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch with her preschool. Unfortunately, it was really, really cold, and got colder while we were there. I think it dropped at least 10 degrees during the hayride.

Despite the cold, we had fun picking out the perfect pumpkin. Kate wanted to find "the littlest pumpkin," since we have a book by that title.

We saw lots of animals at the farm. Kate loved all the animals and kept oohing and ahhing over all of them. I realized what a city girl she is, since she wasn't born when we lived in Washington and had a farm right behind our house.

Kate and her friend Courtney were practically inseparable for the day. This picture cracks me up because they both look so cold!
