Thanksgiving 2014

We had a really fun Thanksgiving.  We spent the day with lots of friends:  the Jones, the Gillmans, the Savages, Cheryl Steubing, and even some friends of some friends.  We had a ton of food, lots of kids, and lots of fun!  And even a fire in the oven.  I didn't remember to take pictures until we pulled out dessert.  All those pies were a beautiful site!  It was a great day!

Sarah's Senior Pictures

Sarah and I had a fun day with Ian McDowell getting her Senior Pictures taken.  The week prior we had gone to downtown Tacoma and scoped out some fun locations.  Sarah really wanted pictures in a library, and the Tacoma library was such a cool building.  The day of the shoot, the weather definitely did not cooperate, but Ian did a fabulous job!  There were so many amazing pictures we had a hard time narrowing them down, but here are 15 favorites:

I love this beautiful, amazing, talented girl!  I'm so proud of her for all the good she does and the good choices she is making.  I can't believe she's a senior!

Kate's soccer season

This year I took photos of Kate's soccer team.  I told the parents I would do it for free, and everyone voted to save some money and have me do it.  I thought they turned out pretty well. 

 I took individual shots of each of the girls as well. 

Here's a few pictures of Kate this season.  She has had a great season!  Last year was a bit rough with some mean girls on her team, so she almost didn't play this year.  But this year has been fantastic!  We switched leagues, and she played with one of her best friends.  Plus, she has made lots of new friends.  It has been a great year, and we are sad to see the season come to an end. 

 Kate has played goalie a lot this season.  She loves it--it makes me nervous!
