Boating

We've had a lot of fun boating this summer.  We've loved having out-of-town friends and family visit us because it has given us lots of chances to take the boat out on the water.  We spent one day playing with Sarah's friend Ally who was up here visiting from California.
Then the very next day we went with my sister Julie and her two kids who came out to visit from North Carolina.  Ben had a lot of fun riding the tube with his cousin Jacob.
Danielle wasn't so sure about the tube at first, but warmed up to it soon enough.

We even got Julie to take a turn on the tube!

The weather was great and we had a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier.

Nothing better than lazy summer days!
Danielle really found her niche driving the boat when we took it out on the Sound the following day.
We had a great view of the bridge, and even saw some seals and jelly fish.

We went right underneath the bridge.  We laughed that there was some graffiti on the bottom.  How could anyone get it there?  Amazing the lengths some people will go to to leave their mark on the world.
Being underneath gives one an entirely new perspective.
My beautiful sister Julie.  I loved loved loved having her come for a visit.
Sarah ran into her friend on the dock and invited him to come along for the ride too.  Have I mentioned how I love living in a small town where we regularly run into people that we know.  I love this place!
 So picturesque!

We took the boat out one more time before Julie and her kids left for home.  My mom came for her first ride that time too.  Thanks everyone for coming to visit!  We love having visitors and we love you all!  Who's next?
