New Year's

We spent New Year's Eve and New Years Day at Grandma Hales' house.  The kids were so excited to play in the snow--they got in their snow gear as soon as we arrived.  We had a fun time sledding and playing in the snow at her neighborhood park.

The snow covered trees were beautiful.
Sarah was ever so thrilled that I was taking pictures.

We had a fun New Year's Eve.  We played lots of games and ate yummy food.  We made our traditional ice cream in a bag.
Everyone stayed up until midnight, except William, who didn't even make it through dinner.

David spent much of the two days we were there setting up Grandma's new computer that she got for Christmas.  He fit in some games of solitaire while the files transferred....
On New Year's Day we went to Joe Watt Canyon for a bigger sledding hill.   We had a great time.

William loved sliding down the hill on David's back.

It was a big hill for those little legs to climb up!

We loved seeing the big elk herd down from the mountains feeding nearby the sledding hill.  They are beautiful creatures.

LOVE the pictures of William sleeping on the chair and sledding on David's back. So cute!
