One day last week David brought home some new pets for the kids: turtles!
One of his patients had decided the turtles needed a new home, so David offered to take them. The kids were thrilled! (Don't worry--he cleared it with me first. He was sort of surprised when I agreed, I think, but I like turtles. And as long as I don't have to clean out the tank, it sounded great to me.)
The kids debated names all during dinner, but finally decided on Turtledee and Turtledum.
Excitement was high--we don't get new pets around here very often.
I think they are happy in their new home.
