Rachel's House Concert
Last weekend Rachel had her house concert. This is where she plays all the piano songs she has learned in her level--for this level she played 19 songs--from memory at home for a group of people she has invited. Did you catch that? From memory. Yep, Rachel had all 19 songs memorized.
Rachel invited her cute group of friends to come. Before the concert, we did make your own pizzas for dinner. After dinner, Rachel's piano teacher joined us, and we had the concert. Rachel played for about 20-25 minutes and did a great job. After the concert, the girls stayed and watched a movie and ate treats. I absolutely love this great group of girls! We are so blessed to have such wonderful girls in our ward that are all the same age. They are so sweet and supportive of each other.

Wow. That is super impressive. She is so talented.
Amazing! My daughter's piano teacher never makes her memorize. She gets to take her book to the recitals. Not sure what I think of that. It would definitely be much cooler to have 19 memorized songs to play anytime and anywhere she wants to.
one word....but someone already stole it.....AMAZING!!!!!!
