December Happenings

As usual, December was a busy month.  It was crammed full of concerts and activities.  Here a pictures of a few:

Ben's band concert:

Sarah has been doing her Senior Project helping with the 8th grade band at the middle school.  She goes twice a week and helps in general, often doing sectionals with the flute players, and even sometimes directing the band.  At the last minute, some percussion players couldn't be at the concert, so she and her friend Ashley (who is also doing her Senior Project with the 8th grade band) stepped in and site read the percussion parts during the concert.  She did fabulous!
I celebrated my birthday with some of my best friends who took me out to breakfast after our exercise class.  I love these ladies!

TideFest is always a big event at the high school.  Sarah and Rachel were busy helping with club booths all weekend.  Sarah spent hours helping decorate and paint Frozen murals around the school.  Here are Sarah and Rachel's choirs performing at TideFest.

We met up with our neighbor friends to decorate gingerbread houses at the library.  Love this tradition!
 Rachel had a violin concert.
These guys met Santa:
We made our own gingerbread house at home.

And the girls had another choir concert.  Here is Rachel in Bella Voce,
 and Sarah in Meistersingers.
William was super cute in the school Christmas program!

And we went to an amazing concert with the Piano Guys up in Seattle.
Phew!  Throw in Christmas shopping, present wrapping, holiday baking, and all of regular life like work, grocery shopping, laundry, etc, and wow!  That was one busy month!
