I had a birthday. Another year at 29. Love it. The end.
Actually, I turned 40 this year. But that will just be our little secret. You won't tell, will you?
I had a fabulous lunch with friends and they surprised me with a box of "40 useful things." I took William to preschool and then was able to relax and enjoy the company. It was so fun! I have some wonderful friends!
I should have taken pictures...
Later, I had carrot cake, which is my favorite. My kids made me a fleece blanket, just like I have made for them.
It was a great day.
I can't say that I'm excited to be 40, but here it is, so I'll do my best to meet it with grace and dignity.
And a pillow over my head.
