Last Day of Summer Vacation

We spent the last day of summer vacation boating and playing at the lake with our friends the Huillets and the Andrews.  I think we eeked as much fun as possible out of summer vacation.  We enjoyed it until the very last minute.

It was a fabulous day with fabulous friends.  We definitely did not want to see summer come to an end. 

At 7:00 p.m., we found ourselves lingering on the dock, not wanting to say goodbye to friends or summer.  We finally drew ourselves away from the lake and the beautiful evening sunshine.  It was time to head home and get ready for our big day in the morning--the first day of a new school year.
