Tahklahk Lake

We spent our last glorious weekend of summer vacation at Tahklahk Lake.  Nestled in the shadows of Mt. Adams, it is one of the most peaceful, beautiful and amazing places on earth.  We went two summers ago with our friends, the Huillets, and decided this year that we must return.

I'll let the pictures tell the story.

We had such a lovely time with our friends, the Huillets.  There is not much better in the world than being at a beautiful place with lifelong friends, with no responsibilities and lots of time to fish, canoe, kayak, play, and talk.

David tried fly fishing for the first time, and even caught a few.  I tried too, and it was pretty fun.  Maybe some day we'll have to get good at it together.

Life is good at Tahklahk Lake.
