Utah Visit
After our busy, crazy end of the school year, we took off for our summer vacation. We first drove down to Utah to listen to my nephew, Thayer, speak in church prior to leaving on his mission to the Congo. Afterward, we had a fun time hanging out with family.
Kate and her cousin Sydney were so excited to see each other and perform for us.
We also got a chance to hold the sweet new baby Quinton that we got to meet for the first time.
Here's the soon-to-be-missionary, Thayer. He's going to be such a great missionary and I am so proud of him. He gave an "epic" talk.
After the missionary farewell, we spent a couple of days hanging around Provo. One day the kids got to play in Uncle Steve and Aunt Jennifer's yard during the weekly flood watering = lots of messy fun.
Another day we spent on the BYU campus. Our first stop was the library. The library, of course, is massive, and almost like a museum with so many cool exhibits. We stopped at the music floor and looked at all the antique instruments. Then we showed Sarah all the stacks filled with sheet music. She was so overwhelmed by it all and can't wait to come to school here so that she can have access to all this music!
Next stop, the Bookstore and the Wilkinsen Center. So many fun memories while walking around campus.
We had a fun time bowling. Thanks to Karen for these pictures.
We had to stop for some pictures on the new Cougar Bench.
And a visit to The Wall. We love BYU!
